Worship Director

Parkside Church, in the Southwest Metro area of the Twin Cities, is in search of a part-time Worship Director. Recent growth and renovated facilities lead us to see who might join our team to help fulfill God’s mission at Parkside.

The person in this position will primarily collaborate with our Tech Director and Lead Pastor in leading and overseeing the worship team in preparing the musical worship portion of the “Sunday Morning Worship Experience” each week.

Responsibilities

• Engage, communicate, and coordinate well in a timely fashion with the Lead Pastor; engage and collaborate with staff as needed

• Engage present worship team members; recruit and engage new team members

• Utilize Planning Center, coordinate with the Lead Pastor & relevant staff in overall service planning, team selection, music selection, preparation, and organization

• Practice and develop your own skills, talents, and abilities

• Establish a healthy expectation of skillful worship that requires dedicated practice and advancement of learned skill levels

• Since prayer is our first work, lead in worship by bathing your personal worship, team worship, and corporate worship in prayer - both alone and in community
